2019 Emmy Award

Venture’s Andrew Lee was a Director of Photography on Showtime’s All-Access series that went behind the scenes for the lead-up to the Deontay Wilder vs Tyson Fury boxing match. The series took home two Sports Emmy Awards in 2019 in the Best Edited Live Event Coverage and Best Series categories.


2018 Telly Award

Venture’s Ryan Newman shot “Nicole Stafford - Pushing the Limit” for CBS Sports Network. This feature told the story of Stanford swimmer Nicole Stafford and honored with a Telly Award in 2018.


In 2018, the film “That Stone Fixed Moment” received a Gold Case Award. Through a poetic voiceover and compelling visuals, it encompasses the student experience at the Judson Mead Geologic Field Station in Montana. This field station is owned and operated by the College of Arts and Sciences and offers students from Indiana University and other institutions an intensive, hands-on opportunity to study geology and the earth sciences.

2018 Gold Case Award


Venture partnered with Indiana University College of Arts & Sciences since 2014 to produce short films that highlight a variety of students, alumnus, and departments. In 2017, the film “Extraordinary Moments - Ian Martin” won best short film in the Gold division of the Case Awards. Directed by Ryan Newman and shot by Andrew Lee, the film focuses on theatre major Ian Martin’s role as the lead in the production of Macbeth.

2012 Cine Golden Eagle Award

In 2011, CBS Sports Network reached out to Venture to produce a 60-minute documentary on the making of the 2012 Final Four Men’s Basketball court. Venture spent four months telling the story of the court — from the woods of the Menominee Indian Tribe in Northeast Wisconsin to the big stage in New Orleans. The documentary won a Cine Golden Eagle award for Best Documentary.
